Webinar: Slag Application in X-ray Fluorescence Analysis
In depth sample preparation and analytical methods in Supermini200 explained by XRF experts.
To obtain precise analytical results by XRF it is important to have a stable spectrometer as well as reproducible sample preparation appropriate for the material being analyzed.
During this 1-hour complimentary webinar, specialists from FLUXANA® and Rigaku® will present the background to sample preparation of slag standards and setting up a fused bead slag calibration with an appropriate drift correction. They will highlight the XRF best operating practices that will ensure the slag fused bead calibration is fit for purpose.
The webinar will take place on June 2nd at 03:00 PM (CET). It's free and will take about 60 minutes. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session — your chance to put any specific questions you have to the panel of experts..

Start of the Registration for our New Proficiency Test / Round Robin
Proficiency Test / Round Robin for Iron Ore - RV-2021-01
The new round robin includes the analysis of an iron ore. Accredited and non-accredited laboratories with sufficient experience in X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) have the opportunity to participate. We recommend XRF as the preferred analysis method.
Registration deadline for the proficiency test is May 31, 2021.
Click the button below for more information and the registration form.
We present the process, requirements and our experience with round robins and answer the question: Why should my laboratory take part in round robins?
Our webinar series "Inside XRF" goes into the next round with the topic: Round Robins / Proficiency Tests in XRF. The host of this webinar, Dr. Rainer Schramm, will give you a detailed insight into the process of round robins / proficiency tests and shows why the participation in round robins is also important for your quality assurance.
The webinar will take place on April 14th at 03:00 PM (CET). It's free and will take about 30 minutes. Registered users will receive a recording of the webinar.

How exactly do I have to weigh in? Manual weighing or automation?
The next part of our webinar series "Inside XRF" revolves around the meaning of the weighing error. Your host, Susan Aschenbrenner, shows what influence the weighing error has on your analysis and compares the manual weighing with the automated weighing using dosing devices.
The webinar will take place on March 17th at 03:00 PM (CET). It's free and will take about 30 minutes. Registered users will receive a recording of the webinar.

Our basic course in XRF: "XRF Practical and Easy"
Our extensive e-learning course "XRF Practical and Easy" deals with the basics of X-ray fluorescence analysis and uses picutres and videos to present the various methods of sample preparation.
Our new product for fusion applications: VITRIOX® ELECTRIC 4+
Automated fusion of up to 16 samples in one run
The new VITRIOX® ELECTRIC 4+ combines great throughput with the highest degree of precision in XRF fusion.
Cleverly incorporating an autosampler, intelligent software and several sample stations, the machine is able to operate continuously and work on up to 16 samples – waiting for samples to cool is a thing of the past! Furthermore, each set of four samples can be processed for different applications.
Safety is also integrated into the design. For example, there are measures to prevent users coming into contact with hot or moving parts as well as sensors to monitor the platinum ware and temperatures inside the machine.
